Childbirth class

Today we went to our childbirth class. It was quite informative and we met quite a few characters which brought excitement to the day. I have decided that being informed is one thing, but there is no real reason to watch 4 babies being born. I am not even sure it's neccesary to watch one. But, I think we both feel more informed and a little more ready for what is to come. I am just hoping that I forget what I saw by the time September rolls around!

Our day was made even better becasue some friends of ours delivered their second girl last night. We went and visited them and she is a beautiful baby. She is so little, but doing great. We are so excited for them. Jeremiah was excited because he got to use his new camera.

We are still 3 months away from a baby, but it is already starting to take over our house. We have been slowly working on the nursery. I am attaching a picture of the crib. I couldn't wait, I had to wash the bedding. It has made it seem a little more real. However, it still doesn't seem so real.

This is the most recent picture of my little baby. However, I think my belly has grown a lot in the last two weeks.

Unveiling the newest Holcomb!

Since I am spending my summer days waiting oh so patiently to meet the newest member of our family, I thought I would pass my time starting a blog. I hope to use this as a place to keep our friends and family that are close and not so close updated on what's going on in our life. I know, like anyone cares about boring old Jeremiah and me, but I think the newest addition might capture a little more attention.
We are now 28 weeks pregnant and Leatus ( a girld named Leah or a boy named Titus) is growing just perfectly. I have had some problems with my blood pressure, so I am starting non-stress tests when I get back from Arizona. Everything else is going just great though. I am feeling great and I am finally starting to look a little pregnant. I will try to figure out how to post some pictures later today.
